Membership Benefits

TRENTON COUNTRY CLUB


Trenton Country Club offers different levels of membership, each providing appropriate privileges to Club facilities and events. Membership categories at TCC are as follows:

  • Full Membership: A stockholding member with the right to hold office and vote in the affairs of the Club. This member has unlimited golf, sports/racquet, pool, fitness and house privileges.
  • Full Junior Membership: A stockholding member with the right to hold office and vote in affairs of the Club.  A Full Junior Membership is reserved for those who meet the eligibility requirements. He or she has unlimited golf, sports/racquet, pool, fitness and house privileges. To be eligible for a Full Junior Membership, an individual must be between 35 and 44 years of age. For those wishing to be in a Full Junior Family Membership, the older of the two in a marriage, domestic partnership, civil union or Significant Other relationship must be between the 35 and 44 years of age.
  • Junior Membership: A non-stockholding member with no right to hold office and no voting rights. A Junior Membership is reserved for those who meet the eligibility requirements. He or she has unlimited golf, sports/racquet, pool, fitness and house privileges.  To be eligible for a Junior Membership, an individual must be under 35 years of age. For those wishing to be in a Junior Family Membership, the older of the two in a marriage, domestic partnership, civil union or Significant Other relationship must be under 35 years of age.
  • Limited Membership (Weekday Golf):  A non-stockholding member with no right to hold office and no voting rights. This member has limited golf, sports/racquet, pool, fitness and house privileges. Weekday Golf Members can only play golf from Tuesday through Friday and are not eligible to play in tournaments that may involve weekend play.
  • Non-Resident Membership:  A non-stockholding member with no right to hold office and no voting rights. This member must not have a residence within fifty (50) miles of the Clubhouse. This member has limited golf, sports/racquet, pool and fitness privileges, but full house privileges.
  • Sports/Racquet Membership – A non-stockholding member with a right to hold office but no voting rights. This member has unlimited sports/racquet, pool, fitness and house privileges, but limited golf privileges. Those Sports/Racquet Members who were members of the Club prior to January 31, 2008 shall be unaffected by this change.
  • Pool Membership: A non-stockholding member with no right to hold office and no voting rights. This member has unlimited pool, fitness and house privileges, but limited golf and sports/racquet privileges. Those Pool Members who were members of the Club prior to January 31, 2008 shall be unaffected by this change.
  • Social Membership: A non-stockholding member with no right to hold office and no voting rights. This member has limited golf, sports/racquet, pool and fitness privileges, but full house privileges. Those Social Members who were members of the Club prior to January 31, 2008 shall be unaffected by this change.
  • Legacy Membership: This member must be a person younger than thirty-one (31) years of age who is a child of a Full Member. He or she may, on one occasion only, apply to become a member in the Full Membership class. The parent member must sponsor a Legacy. After all fees, dues, and any other obligations to the Club have been meet, the Legacy shall become a member of the Full Membership class with all rights and privileges afforded thereto.
  • Honorary Membership: A non-stockholding member with no right to hold office and no voting rights. This member has unlimited golf, sports/racquet, pool, fitness and house privileges. Honorary Members are individuals chosen for recognition by the Board because of their service and contributions to the Club, the community or the professional golf community or because of their distinguished public character. Only the Board, at its sole discretion and by unanimous vote, shall grant an Honorary membership. Such membership shall be for one (1) year but may be renewed indefinitely. Honorary Members are not required to pay initiation fees or dues, but shall pay all other fees and charges incurred while using the Club.
  • Life Membership:  An individual wishing to become a Life Member must be a member in good standing and must have been a continuous member of the Club for a period of at least forty-five (45) years. He or she shall submit a written request to become a Life Member to the Board for its review. Upon verification of his or her qualifications, the Board shall approve the member’s request to become a Life Member within thirty (30) days from receipt of that request. A Life Member shall retain all rights, benefits, and privileges from the membership class in which he or she was most recently active before becoming a Life Member. Additionally, he or she shall not pay any further initiation fees or dues, but shall pay all other fees and charges incurred while using the Club. No individual who becomes a member of the Club after January 1994 shall be eligible for a Life Membership.
Each of the above membership categories can be considered a Family Membership in the Club.
Family Membership: A Family Membership in the Club provides the spouse, domestic partner, partner in a civil union or Significant Other and/or the immediate family of the named member or members on the membership all rights and privileges included with that membership, subject to such limitations and fees as are set forth in the Rules, and the immediate family of the member or members shall not the right to vote or hold office in the Club. Family Memberships shall be available for all membership classes. Family Memberships may be classified as “with children” or “without children” with accompanying dues, fees and assessments associated with each as determined by the Board. For purposes of these Bylaws, “immediate family” is defined as children (biological, adopted, foster or step) under 25 years of age who are not married or in a domestic partnership, civil union or Significant Other relationship.
